Three Inches

According to my little sister, any time it snows, no matter how deep it is, the depth is always "three inches". Well, today I got more than a little bored (as is evident by my excessive ceramic painting, making myself a Froot Loop necklace, and other related activities :P), so I decided to find out exactly how much snow was out there.

Now, for the sake of comparison, a quarter is approximately one inch tall, as illustrated in the above pic. This is what the world looked like when I finally made up my mind to go outside.

Using my quarter as a scale, this is how deep the snow turned out to really be (remember, one quarter = one inch):
.....Yeah. For those of you who need a numerical value, that's about SIX INCHES OF SNOW!!! Happy day off of school to everyone. :P

Oh, and guess what else? My scarf is finally done, as of this past Friday night. Hooray! With all this snow, I'll probably need it, too. Now to finish that horse...
