Because he deserves it...

This week has been pretty great at my house. Well, relatively quiet. This is due to the fact that my brother has been at Timberline, and you can usually pin most of the conflicts that happen around here on him, whether or not he really gets blamed for them. :P I guess that's what happens when you're a guy with no brothers, just touchy sisters.

Needless to say, I was pretty excited when he left Monday morning. There have been virtually no arguments or anything between us girls, and he hasn't been around to poke me incessantly or look over my shoulder at what I'm doing. Not to mention that I can have the mirror more often if I want it. ;) But now that it's Saturday, I kind of miss him. For example, my mom decided to move her dresser out of her bedroom this week, while the kid who normally would have carried it out was gone, so I had to drag it out to the trash instead.

No, but really, I'm glad he's coming back today. We're close enough in age that he and I can relate better on most things than my sister and I can. You know, teenage things, I guess. Although I like to tease him that he ruined my perfect little life when I was 3, I really would be quite lonely without him. He may be annoying at times (what am I saying, may? He is very annoying at times), but I know he cares. It's really not very hard to see why girls like him (haha, but perhaps they like him a bit too much...if you know him, you know what I mean ;) ). Oh wow, if this is after one week, I can't imagine what it'll be like when he goes on his mission...ack, in like 6 years now! That'll be quite the camp... :)

Way to go, Brayden. You made me miss my brother, too.

Now watch, when he comes home in about half an hour or so, I'll probably be wishing we could send him away again within the first couple hours. ;) But still, I think he deserves this little tribute.

Love you, my little bro! :)
