Falling apart...

I...can't believe it's been so long since I posted last. True, I think I've gone for longer, but still. Really, I don't intentionally neglect this blog, I just have way too busy of a life at the moment (I'm sure most of you can relate). And/or I can't really manage my time well enough at the moment to balance everything, and so my blogs just get un-posted.

Truth be told, I'm falling apart. Drowning.

I really hate third term. At the moment, I'm barely keeping up. Actually, that's a lie; I'm slipping under, falling behind. Quite conveniently (rather, quite inconveniently), this next week or two before the end of the term is when back-to-back choir and band tours have been scheduled. WHY?? You may argue that hey, I was the one who chose to go on tour(s), and knew that it would be near the end of the term, but decided to go through with it anyway, and you'd be correct. Still, they will be great experiences for me. Right?

I've discovered that this is one of my (many) faults: even though I know adding something will probably be outlandishly crazy, pack my schedule even tighter, or be near impossible to accomplish, I still decide to do it anyway. I think, in some twisted way, I like having a chaotically hectic life; I get some sort of high, maybe, rushing from one thing to another. I hardly know what to do with myself when I have some down time, and usually end up wasting it. Which brings us to my current predicament: drowning, because I can't stay afloat any longer.

Speaking of which, I REALLY need to go get my packing done so I can be ready to go to the airport after school tomorrow. These next two weeks will be quite an adventure. Wish me luck.

To DC and beyond (actually Colorado, which is really closer to us than DC, but oh well)!
