Oh, grow UP!

Really, you can't say ANYTHING around guys without it being taken the wrong way. That is SO not what I meant, and you all know it! Gosh.

That's point number one.

Point number two: Girl's camp. My friend and I were isolated on the upper level, but it's not like we couldn't hear what the younger girls were talking about down below. Let me tell you, it wasn't very intelligent conversation, for the most part. The majority of their discussions concerned boys (particularly ward boys, *shiver), and whichever girl was not present at the time. It drove us upstairs girls CRAZY, particularly when these conversations would happen in the wee hours of the morning and we were still trying to get to sleep!

This year was different, knowing that it was my last year at camp, but it was also different because I felt more like a leader than a girl. Not surprising, I guess, seeing as it was my second year as a youth leader, but still, I felt like I connected more with the leaders than anyone else. My friend and I discussed this on our last night, as we realized that soon we were going to graduate, move away to attend different universities, and for the first time since we were three, be apart from each other as we live our own lives. It was strange to think that we might not see each other again for years, if ever, and I'm not sure I'm ready for all that change yet.

Kind of makes me wish I could go back to the days where the most important subjects in life were crushes on boys.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about crushes on boys anymore. Those were bad days.

Yuck, boys.

ACTUALLY, I'm only saying that because I want you to think that I don't think that boy crushes are important.

I think I'm about five years behind everyone else my age in this area of growing up, aka maturity.

Joyce: Haha well now you have! Good times yesterday, when you two were all drugged up and I was the only sane one. Thanks for breaking up my monotonous day! Yes, camp was fun. :)
