It's been a pretty good year, all things considered. I feel a bit guilty for not having posted a single thing since the school year started, but in my defense I've had quite a hefty load on my plate (yep...it's still there). I REALLY need to learn portions.
Ideally, I was going to post a list of the top x-number of best things from 2009, but due to the fact that there are only six more hours in the year (YIKES for so many reasons), I think I'll forgo that and simply say it was great. Okay, obviously it wasn't hunky-dory every day of the year, but overall--and I may just be experiencing a serious case of rosy retrospection here--I'd say my time was (generally) well spent.
Ha. There was one resolution I made at the end of last year that never did get fulfilled, but that's just fine; I'm pretty sure it's much better that way. :) Besides, there's always next year... ;)
This year is sure to bring many more changes for me. College, hoo boy. I'll be leaving things behind and trading in my locker combination for an apartment key soon. Yikes again. But first, let's focus on finishing high school. There's really no point in fretting over college if I can't even complete my high school graduation requirements.
Well, I'll wrap up for now. Cross your fingers that I'll find some time to waste on another blog post soon. It's been a fabulous year and a decade of development for me. Bring it on, 2010!
