Oops again.

Darn it, I stink at posting consistently. I'm so hypocritical; I get impatient when my friends don't update for a while, but then I go...usually much longer without updating mine. :P

Maybe it's just that nothing particularly amazing has happened lately. Or, if it has, I just kinda forgot about it. Oh! I went to bed before midnight last night for the first time in who knows how long! :D That's exciting, I guess.

And....I had my first-ever choir concert last night. The thing was, my brother had a band concert at almost the same time, so my parents went to his first then had to book it over to mine in like ten minutes, since I had no clue what time a cappella was going on stage. I think we did pretty well, way better than we did in class that afternoon, anyway. :P At the tech rehearsal the night before the concert we did really well, and then the next day in class we were terrible. I think we might have given our choir director a bit of a fright (as in "OMG, we have a concert tonight, and these guys sound like CRAP. What is up."); oops. But we made up for it. I just wish I could have heard the other choirs; we were supposed to stay locked in the choir room ("No one is allowed to leave this room unless you are either in another choir or need a drink." I guess if you had an emergency or something, oh well, you'd just have to live with it) until it was our turn to go backstage and line up. But WOW the auditorium was like three times as full as it is for band concerts!

I have zero ideas what to be for Halloween, and there are at least a couple of activities I have this year for which I need to/should wear a costume. Help! Preferably something red, since Karly and Karen and I all want to work with that theme.

Which reminds me of one last thing: Sadies. I really want to go because I think it'll be fun, except for I'm afraid that he might say no. I guess that's a natural fear, though: fear of rejection. I know how to ask him now, but I'm still not even sure if I can go, so I haven't done anything yet. :P

I'm off to finish my English and math homework now. Ugh, I REALLY need to do well on that quiz tomorrow, for my grade's sake. See, I didn't really do my homework at the beginning of the term (old habits die hard), so my grade really suffered because of it. And since it's a college course, I can't make up anything, so even though I got on top of things later in the term, my earlier lack of work had really made a dent in my grade. So the best I can do now is hope for a good grade on the quiz. Cross your fingers! :)
