Hold onto your stomach...

School lunch just hit a new low today. Really, just thinking about it again makes me want to hurl...ugh.

My friend got a chicken sandwich, and it came with a side dish of these mysterious objects. At first glance, they looked sort of like raw french fries, if that's even possible (they were greenish). My next thought was repulsive; I thought maybe the lunch ladies were taking a leaf out of Asian cuisine's book and serving deep-fried insects now. I wasn't too far off with that one.

They were...prepare yourself...deep-fried green beans.

Nasty, huh? Maybe the lunch ladies just got bored and decided to experiment. Um, bad idea. :P

And tonight at dinner, one of the vegetables on the table was cooked green beans. Needless to say, I had to pass.

Moving on to more pleasant things... ;) I went back to dance today!! After the whole summer off...wow. It felt good, though, and since I had ballroom this morning, I got to dance twice in one day! *happiness :D It's been a while since I last really went running, and I haven't done much of anything since then, so even though now I'm sore in my feet and calves and thighs and...yeah, a lot of places, it's a good sore. It means I'm actually doing something again to try and balance out those chocolate chip splurges I'm prone to having lately. ;) Actually, I'm pretty sure the sugary cravings stem from not being active like I used to be, because I didn't have them when I was doing what I was supposed to be doing, aka exercising regularly. Okay, rant over. But yeah. I love to dance! Hahaha speaking of which, Krystal and I decided the other day that I'm going to teach my Homecoming date the cha cha. ;) It will be FUN.

Well, I'm pretty sure I had something else to say on here, but my mind is going about twenty different directions at the moment, as usual, so I guess if I ever remember, I'll post about it. But for now, I think I'll go attempt that math homework I've been procrastinating. I swear, that class is about ten times harder when the teacher doesn't like you. :P
