IT SNOWED AGAIN! A lot. But I'm sure anyone around here could have figured that one out. I was surprised when I woke up yesterday to see snow, but at that point it was basically just a thin sheet of it on the ground, and you could still see blades of grass protruding from beneath it.
I spent most of yesterday at my grandma's house, baking pies and all that. I made my first apple pie! Yay! It probably could have used a little more sugar, but a la mode, it was pretty good. We also made zucchini cake with Ecuadorian chocolate chips (I liked them better than the ones from Ceylon or the DRC), and I'm pretty sure my frosting job failed, but it was still edible. After everything was baked, we were bushed, and decided to take a nap. But that didn't happen; we cleaned the kitchen instead. Hard work! :P It was fun, though.
Shortly after I first went over, the neighbors threw a tennis ball over the fence, and it landed on our frozen pool. So of course, there's no snow on it yet. Well, I could tell the snow was coming down pretty hard, because by the time I left to go home, the tennis ball was gone. I mean, it was still there, just invisible under a mound of snow. When I went out to get the mail, it seemed more like 50 miles than 50 feet (I went around the long way to avoid as much snow as possible).
But...now the snow's melting!! I went sledding at like nine last night, and it was already starting to feel kind of mushy. This morning, walking to church was just a pain, number one because I was in heels, but number two because I was basically walking through slush. Yes, the snow is still around, but it's supposed to be more...fluffy or something, I dunno. The point is, I hope we get some more good snow. We might actually get a real snow day for the first time in a long time. And who knows, maybe I'll try skiing or snowboarding this year. ;)

My vote is that it keeps snowing for the rest for forever. . . :D Or just the rest of this month... :)
