White

That's the word to describe today. Yay for December 1st!!! Although earlier this week I said I didn't want it to snow, I guess since it's December now, it's okay. :P I woke up with this feeling like there was snow outside. Then I remembered how it had been trying to snow last night, so I decided to check out the window. WOW I should have had my sunglasses on! It was really bright out, with all the whiteness sparkling in the early sunlight. It was way pretty, but I was tired, so I went back to bed. ;)

Black is the word for tonight. Black ice was a bit scary, and the thought of driving in it was terrifying. When Dad came to pick me up from Elise's house (ha, about an hour ago), he offered to let me drive home, thinking he was being nice in giving me some practice time, but I recoiled, declining his offer. I mean, if my mom, who usually drives like 70 or something in a residential area under normal conditions, was driving at about 20 mph today, I did NOT want to give it a shot myself at all. For me, 20 is pretty much flying. :D

Now that there's snow, though, that means not only cold, but now I've got to deal with wet. Which adds to the cold. I officially broke out my own marshmallow coat today (I wore my brother's to school yesterday, which, in comparison to mine, is more like a pancake coat). The thing I hate about it though is that likes to shed feathers everywhere. Although, amazingly enough, I didn't shed any all day today! My fear of taking it off might have had something to do with it...

Well, I'm off to bed now. It's been a loooooooong day. Toodles!
